Become a WEA Member

Since our foundation in 1913, many thousands of Sydneysiders have been a part of the WEA Sydney story – and you can be a part of it too by simply becoming a member. WEA Sydney has a growing membership, consisting of students, WEA club members, and individuals just keen to support what WEA does – provide the best short courses in Sydney. Membership only costs $25 for 1 year and comes with many benefits:

• A Member discount of 10%¹ that applies to all courses and events except for VET / Discussion Group courses, or courses held by external organisations
• Free enrolment into one of our two special annual free Members Lectures presented by leading tutors on entertaining and enthralling topics
• An invitation to our end-of-year Christmas drinks party for WEA Sydney tutors and staff
• The chance to win a $250 voucher in the Members’ Draw every term

Please note that once you become a WEA Sydney member, it may take the system up to 5-10 minutes for it to recognise this has been purchased. You do not need to insert any discount codes to receive your discounted fee, it will automatically apply the discount for you.
