Ray Younis was educated at the University of Sydney (BA Hons. MA Hons.) and the University of Oxford (DPhil). He has over 30 years of teaching experience at Oxford, the University of Sydney and UNSW, among others, and is the recipient of several commendations and awards for teaching and learning. He has published many essays in books and journals. His most recent book, just published, is On the Ontology of the Sacred (and the Profane); he is currently completing a book on digital media, ethics and the question of social justice. He also has over 30 years of experience as a wine consultant and educator in Oxford and Sydney.
