Susan Deas is a professional musician, lecturer and teacher. She has been teaching music appreciation courses for more than twenty years, and is a regular lecturer at WEA Sydney. Her training includes a Bachelor of Music with a major in Performance (Piano) and Musicology, a Master of Music Studies (Studio Pedagogy), a Bachelor of Arts (Communications), and an A.Mus.A in Musicianship. Susan teaches piano and music theory to adults and children, and plays piano and organ at various venues around Sydney. Susan is an Accredited Member of the Music Teachers’ Association of NSW.Yvette Debergue

Dr Yvette Debergue has a passionate interest in all things medieval, especially Gothic architecture, medieval saints and heretics and historical fiction. She has taught medieval history and church history at several universities in Sydney since 2006 and specialises in teaching adult education, making history fun and relevant. Jeannette Delamoir has a PhD in media studies from La Trobe University, and a Master of Arts in Literature/Creative Writing from the State University of New York at Brockport. Her employment history includes 11 years teaching at CQUniversity, as well as roles as baker, manager of an art-house cinema, writer/editor/media contact for a museum, and arts journalist. Dr Donef has completed two doctorates (Anthropology and Politics), as well as a number of other degrees inter alia in languages, social sciences and ancient history. Dr Donef specialised on Turkish political affairs, the role of religion and minorities, as well as minorities in the Middle East. Over the last 25 years Dr Donef have taught a number of courses related to Turkey and Middle East and is able to stimulate student interest and prompt conversation. Vicki Dwyer holds a Master of Music in Contemporary Voice with over 30 years of teaching experience. In addition to her expertise as a singing teacher, she is a seasoned conductor, leading a cappella choirs, and vocal ensembles for 21 years. As a distinguished Master Director with Sweet Adelines International, she sets a standard of excellence in choral music. Vicki's musical achievements extend to representing Australia in prestigious international competitions for vocal ensembles. Notably, she achieved an International bronze (3rd place) medal with her women's a cappella ensemble, Circular Keys Chorus, in 2018. Her vocal talent is also showcased in the a cappella quartets "Alouette" and "Alter Ego," frequently featured on television and radio.
With a profound passion for vocal science and singing pedagogy, Vicki continues to conduct research in voice for academic journals and as a board member of the Australian Voice Association. She seeks to expand her knowledge and shares the science behind her teaching techniques. Her approach empowers students to understand the "how" and "why" of concepts, instilling confidence in embracing their own unique voice. Vicki's teaching style caters to learners of all levels, reflecting her approachable and empathetic nature. Her ultimate goal is to unlock the potential within each singer and foster a deep appreciation and love for their voice.
