Cavan Hogue

Cavan Hogue’s academic qualifications come from the University of Sydney (BA), and Macquarie University (Master of Applied Linguistics). For two years, he was a Fellow at the Centre for International Affairs at Harvard (1975/6). After retiring from his diplomatic career, highlighted by several Ambassadorships, his career in academia has included the Directorship of the National Thai Studies Centre at ANU, Adjunct Professorship at UTS (International Studies Institute) and Adjunct Professor in International Communication, Faculty of Arts, Macquarie university, where he taught both graduate and undergraduate programs.

Christopher Horder

Christopher Horder is an acclaimed painter with over 25 years of experience painting and exhibiting. He holds an Honours degree in Painting from the National Art School and has showcased his artwork in solo and group exhibitions worldwide. He has over 20 years teaching experience, making his classes enjoyable, informative, practical and unique. He has achieved recognition for his talent, including being a finalist in the Brett Whitley Travelling Arts Scholarship and The Dobell Drawing Prize, and winning the Mosman Emerging Artist Award, among other prizes. Currently, he is working on his fourth solo show at Nanda/Hobbs Gallery.

Kerry Howell is a vastly experienced & qualified makeup artist & instructor who specialises in teaching certified makeup courses throughout Sydney. She has worked in television, prominent fashion events, weddings, theatre, personal branding/corporate workshops & magazine. As creator of her own brands "Glitter Gal Australia" & "Kerry Howell Makeup", Kerry understands the properties of makeup & is an expert in creating & teaching makeup utilising the world’s most on-trend applications.

Paul Howles

Paul Howles, BA PhD, has taught at WEA for over five years. Majoring in ancient history, Near Eastern archaeology, and science, Paul is passionate about both the ancient world of the eastern Mediterranean and the field of modern molecular biology. He endeavours to educate students by not only his lecturing style, but by the provision of handout notes. Paul believes that enthusiasm for a subject is necessary to engage students.

Bob Hudson

Bob Hudson holds a PhD in archaeology from the University of Sydney. He has spent the past 15 years helping to compile UNESCO World Heritage dossiers for the ancient cities of Burma/Myanmar. A former pop star (The Newcastle Song) and radio broadcaster (2JJ, 2BL), Bob is known for his accessible and entertaining presentations of complex archaeological data. He can also spin a few good yarns about life on the archaeological frontier.
