For students who have completed Ancient Greek language studies to a high intermediate or advanced standard or who wish to brush up on previous studies of the language. A detailed reading of Homer's epics focuses on Homeric dialect and epic composition, alongside the story of the Trojan war and its main heroes. Book 24 deals with Achilles' unabating grief for Patroclus and return of Hector's body for burial.
