Continue developing your beginner Italian fluency and confidence with our Beginner Italian: A2.2 Course, suitable for learners who have completed our Beginner Italian: A2.1 Course course or have approximately 120 hours of prior study. This course helps you strengthen your communication skills for everyday situations while deepening your understanding of Italian grammar and vocabulary, making it ideal for learners wanting to learn the Italian language for travel, work, or personal enrichment in a supportive, interactive learning environment.

You will learn to describe physical and personality traits, make comparisons, express wishes and assumptions, offer and respond to suggestions, and make or confirm bookings for cultural events. Grammar is taught in context, including né…né, farcela, andarsene, comparatives (quanto/come), the present conditional, stare + gerundio, direct and indirect object pronouns, and relative pronouns (che, cui). Vocabulary practic includes everyday interactions and cultural topics such as theatre, cinema, and museums, helping you use beginner Italian more confidently and naturally in real-life situations.

  2. Use a wider range of grammar and sentence structures accurately, including pronominal verbs (farcela, andarsene), the present conditional, stare + gerundio, direct and indirect object pronouns (including with infinitives), agreement of the past participle, and relative pronouns (che, cui).
  3. Expand vocabulary and fluency, focusing on physical and personality descriptions, cultural activities, and expressions such as né…né, tranne, già, non ancora, and qualcuno/nessuno for more natural, expressive Italian.
