This course helps you strengthen your communication skills for everyday situations while deepening your understanding of Spanish grammar and vocabulary, making it ideal for learners wanting to learn the Spanish language for travel, work, or personal enrichment in a supportive, interactive learning environment.

You will learn to describe habits, customs, and circumstances in the past, sequence actions, tell stories, express emotions, and participate in simple debates. Grammar and vocabulary are taught in context, including the imperfect past tense, irregular preterite forms, contrasts between preterite and imperfect, past forms of estar + gerund, time markers, and expressions such as ya no and todavía. Phonetics is integrated throughout, with practice in intonation for time markers and pronunciation of t and d to develop clear and confident speech in Spanish.
