Joakim Groesvik, ADMus (Guitar), has been teaching guitar since 2013 and has over ten years of experience helping students achieve fast results using the structured and proven G4 Guitar Method. Joakim focuses on keeping students motivated and engaged by breaking down concepts in practical ways tailored to individual learning styles. He believes that consistent progress and enjoyment are key to long-term success. Joakim’s teaching approach is clear, goal-oriented, and supportive, ensuring that students not only improve quickly but also stay inspired to keep practicing and developing their skills.

Dr Elizabeth Guy (BA Dip Ed, Diploma in Art History, Masters, Hons., PhD in Poetry & Politics) has taught Literature and Language in high schools in NSW and WA as well as in UTS, Sydney University, University of Santiago Chile, University of South Pacific Fiji and the University of Sterling in Scotland. She is currently writing a book on Poetry.

Mary Haire has worked as an actor, singer, dancer, choreographer, writer and teacher of dance and drama in a career spanning over forty years. She and a small group of similarly minded students pioneered improvisation at NIDA in 1971. She has taught it (casually) since graduation (1973).

Sheila Hammond

Sheila Hammond gained her initial qualifications from Trinity College, London, followed by formal training qualifications and a graduate diploma in social ecology from the University of Western Sydney. She then was awarded a Master of Applied Science in 1999 from that same institution. She has worked in the area of voice training for over 20 years, including at community colleges, schools and in corporate settings

Anne Harbers

Anne Harbers MA, MBA, MAppSc, GCLT, is an experienced presenter and writer in Art History and European Decorative Arts and has tutored at WEA for over 5 years as well as given talks to museums, antiques study groups and art history conferences in USA and Europe. She lives part-time in The Netherlands whilst working on her PhD on the 17th century Dutch still-life painter Abraham van Beyeren. Her current art history research interests lie in European art and Decorative Arts from the 17th to 19th centuries. She has published on art and collecting, contributing to over 5 books. Anne likes to teach in a collaborative way, presenting current exhibitions in Europe & Britain and hopes to encourage participant learning through informing but also exploring ideas.

Leanne Harrison-Davies

Leanne Harrison-Davies is a dedicated artist with over twenty years experience in education and the visual arts. Her most recent her work is informed by extensive and rigorous investigations into Old Master technique. Leanne is an enthusiastic teacher who is student focused and skills based. She believes everyone has a natural artistic ability which can be developed by engaging in structured activities in a positive learning environment. Leanne believes the creative process is best fostered by equipping students with knowledge of materials and techniques.
