Join us at WEA Sydney for a relaxed and practical Digital Confidence Morning as part of Get Online Week. Enjoy a morning tea, meet other WEA learners and explore two hands-on sessions designed around the technology you use in everyday life.

Two practical sessions

You'll rotate between two 45-minute sessions, giving you the chance to explore different aspects of digital life in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Be a Scam Detective Learn how to spot the warning signs of suspicious texts, emails and messages. Test your skills with real-world examples and discover simple checks you can make before clicking a link, opening an attachment or responding to a message.

AI Without the Intimidation Curious about ChatGPT and other AI tools but not sure where to start? Discover practical ways AI can help with everyday tasks, from planning a weekend away and writing an email to explaining something complicated in plain English. You'll have the opportunity to try a prompt for yourself.

Morning tea and conversation

Between sessions, we'll come together for tea, coffee and a light morning tea. It's a chance to meet other learners, share experiences and ask questions.

We'll also explore some of the everyday digital tools that can make life easier, including maps, QR codes, online searching and useful apps.

You don't need to be a technology expert. You don't need to know anything about AI. And there are no silly questions.

Come along, learn something useful, meet some fellow WEA learners and leave feeling a little more confident about navigating the digital world.
