Continue developing your beginner Spanish fluency and confidence with our Beginner Spanish: A1.2 Course, suitable for learners who have completed our Beginner Spanish: A1.1 Course or have approximately 20 hours of prior study. This course helps you build stronger communication skills for everyday situations while expanding your understanding of Spanish grammar and vocabulary. It is ideal for learners interested in learning Spanish for cultural interest or personal enrichment in a supportive and interactive learning environment.
You will practise everyday communication such as describing people's appearance and personality, talking about relationships and interests, expressing likes and preferences, and interacting in simple shopping situations. Grammar and vocabulary are taught in context to help you ask questions, identify objects, describe people and items, and express needs and preferences using common verbs and basic sentence structures. Phonetics is integrated throughout the course, with focused practice on question intonation and the pronunciation of the Spanish “r” sound to help you develop clearer and more confident spoken Spanish.
