Do you have the right words in your head but struggle to get them onto the page? Perhaps an important email, a letter to a good friend, a heartfelt message in a Christmas card to a loved one, maybe it's a short story or article, a memoir chapter, or simply your own journal. This friendly, hands-on workshop is a place to bring your hand and heart together, so what you think and feel finally flows onto the page. Over three relaxed two-hour sessions, you'll join a small, supportive group to try simple exercises, share your work and give and receive encouraging feedback.
Put aside old schooldays fears about writing. There's no competition and no wrong answers, just practice, support and the magic that happens when people put pen to paper together. Bring a working draft, something you've started or a piece you want to improve, and watch it grow with the group's help. You'll also explore how AI tools can help you brainstorm, edit and get unstuck when the words won't come, yet keeping your own voice of what you create. Whatever you'd like to put into words and wherever you're starting from, come along, switch on the 'fun-enjoy-satisfaction' button, and connect with others and leave with greater confidence and words that truly sound like you
Participants are required to bring a laptop.
