• Major skills in ink control and interplay with water, Six Canons of Chinese Aesthetic
• Yin Yang opposite theory, light and dark contrast, aerial perspective
• Mountain scape, cloud and mist, rainy weather depiction
• Inscription and stone seal usage on a finished painting
