Consolidate and expand on the elementary grammar and vocabulary covered in Greek 1, while also learning some new grammatical concepts and vocabulary. Students will continue to develop their basic conversational capacity, learning to engage in everyday small-talk, as well as more specialised conversations regarding work and vocation.

COURSE OUTLINE
- Small-talk & greetings. Talking about work. Ordering at a café & restaurant.
- Grammatical gender. Adjectival phrases. The definite articles.
- “Case” declensions for nouns & adjectives.
- “To be” sentences. Present-tense verb conjugation.
- Numbers 11-100. Some adverbs of time & place.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of this course, students should be able to:
- Learn to engage in small-talk and everyday greetings
- Learn to talk about one’s work/profession and ask about the work of others
- Consolidate and expand on the grammatical concepts introduced in Greek 1 (gender, adjectival phrases, definite articles, case declensions, “to be” sentences, verb conjugation, numbers)
- Become familiar with the use of some adverbs of time & place
