Many of us spend enormous energy criticising ourselves, replaying difficult conversations or resisting uncomfortable emotions. This practical workshop explores self-kindness as a skill grounded in mindfulness and self-compassion, showing how changing the way we relate to ourselves can improve resilience, wellbeing and decision-making. Through practical strategies and guided reflection, participants will learn how to recognise the inner critic, respond more constructively to difficult emotions and build greater self-trust. You'll leave with simple, practical tools to help manage stress, self-doubt and everyday pressures.

  • "The Wise Heart" by Jack Kornfield
  • "Mindfulness: A Practical Guide to Awakening" by Joseph Goldstein
  • "Self-Compassion: The Proven Power of Being Kind to Yourself" by Kristin Neff

  • Self-kindness as a conscious daily practice, and why it is neither selfish nor weak
  • How harshness and autopilot show up in the body, and what shifts when you meet yourself with care
