Continue developing your beginner French fluency and confidence with our Beginner French: A2.1 Course, suitable for learners who have completed our Beginner French: A1 Conclusion course or have approximately 80 hours of prior study. This course helps you build stronger communication skills for everyday situations while expanding your understanding of French grammar and vocabulary. It is ideal for learners interested in learning French for cultural interest or personal enrichment in a supportive and interactive learning environment.
You will practise communication in situations such as talking about past and recent events, describing people and their similarities, understanding biographical information, and giving advice. Grammar is introduced naturally in context, including the passé composé, near-future structures, and imperative forms. Vocabulary and pronunciation are integrated throughout, covering life events, projects, and everyday topics, along with key pronunciation patterns and distinctions between tenses.
