This session is ideal for those who enjoy storytelling, journalling, or creative expression. Please bring a laptop (a tablet can work, but laptop is better), as well as your email login details in order to register for the software that will be used for this course.

• Icebreaker: share a story idea with a partner
• Use AI to structure the story and co-write a short story
• Explore light image generation options (guided walkthrough)
• Design a multi-page storybook with AI images and text which can then be exported as a digital printable PDF

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this course, students should be able to:

• Learn how to co-write a story using ChatGPT or other AI tools
• Understand basic AI image generation using Canva, Nano Banana, ChatGPT DALL·E, Ideogram or other AI platforms (guided demo)
• Create a digital storybook using tools like Canva
