This course is designed for learners who can read Hiragana and Katakana and have a basic understanding of Japanese. It aims to strengthen foundational grammar, improve speaking confidence, and expand everyday vocabulary. Through a variety of practical activities such as pair work, conversations, and listening tasks, students will practise using essential grammar patterns in real-life situations. The course focuses on building fluency and accuracy in daily communication while helping learners gain confidence in expressing themselves naturally in Japanese.

COURSE OUTLINE

  • Review of basic grammar patterns and sentence structures
  • Practice of essential everyday expressions and useful vocabulary
  • Speaking activities to build confidence and simple conversation skills

  • Listening comprehension practice for daily situations and basic interactions
  • Introduction to Japanese culture, customs, and everyday social expressions
