...Australia has produced some great minds and great leaders. We have also produced some great personalities and eccentrics. It is worth remembering them because they contributed to a more colourful and often, richer society. In this course we look at some of these characters, from the elusive to the “out there”, people like Arthur Stace, the “Eternity Man”, Ned Kelly, Bea Miles, Daisy Bates, John Macarthur, Henry Lawson, Louisa Lawson, Norman Lindsay, Burnum Burnum and Albert Jacka. Find out how they contributed to their times, but also their colourful histories.
